Alapaha River Lakeland, Georgia

This is a list of photo's taken of the Alapaha River as it runs through Lakeland, Georgia (it's very eroded).  While walking the river bank, several pieces of flint, a couple small pieces of pottery, and several old bullets were found.  This would probably be good searching grounds after the water level in the river rises - then drops.

This point was found on the bank of the Alapaha River.

Little River - Cook County, Georgia

These photo's were collected from the Little River in Cook County, Georgia.  A quick inspection down this river showed HEAVY amounts of flint that had been worked and also a huge mass of flint.  This mass of flint was surely a collection site for the Native Americans.
