Astronomer Profile
My name is Michele T. Mazzucato and I live in Italy. My main interests are the history of astronomy, geometrical geodesy and Solar System minor bodies.
I’m co-founder of the Gruppo M1 Astrofili Castiglionesi, an Italian association of amateur astronomers www.gruppom1.it, and a collaborator at the www.matematicamente.it. I make part of the team of the San Marcello Pistoiese Observatory (code MPC 104) for the astrometry of minor planets and comets activities www.gamp-pt.net/link5.htm. I’m a member of the Italian Celestial Mechanics and Astrodynamics Association (SIMCA), Italian Astronomical Society (SAIt), Italian amateur Astronomers Union (UAI) and others scientific associations.
I’m participant at the Stardust@Home, Generalized Fermat Number and SOHO Comet Searches.
