Tifton Tift County Junior Firefighter Program Donations
The Tifton / Tift County Junior Firefighter Program is seeking any donations or contributors to help fund the program. Kids aged 15 - 19 are in the program and are in need of contributions to provide any of the following: any funding, training materials, firefighter helmets, any turnout gear, equipment, etc. ALL contributions will be strictly used for the Tifton/Tift Co. Jr. Firefighter Program. All instructors of the Tifton/Tift County Junior Firefighter Program are volunteers.
The program was created to teach our children fire safety, responsibilities, pride, and eventually the possibility to become actual Fire Fighters. Children of this age are in that "time frame" of their life where they need something to help guide their way. Firefighting teaches them to "do the right thing" and teaches them to give to the community.
