Asteroid Tonyhoffman 112900 (2002 QS50)

This Web Site is best viewed with a screen resolution of 1280 x 1024.

Asteroid 112900 Tonyhoffman was named after Tony Hoffman.  Tony has been busy throughout his many years of astronomy, discovering more than 70 SOHO comets (including the brightest one I've ever saw), and he is the co-discoverer of Near Earth Asteroid 2005 JB22.  More information and orbit can be found HERE.

This was my first attempt at any object this faint.  At the time if imaging, asteroid Tonyhoffman 112900 was at magnitude 20.2 and is barely visible in this image.
