I finally obtained enough data to produce a (hopefully) somewhat accurate lightcurve of Near Earth Object 2006 WO127. The graph below has been composed of images taken from 20100330 through 20100403 using the 12" LX200 at the Red Barn Observatory MPC-H68 (location, Georgia) and the 16" RCOS at the Tzec Maun Observatory MPC-H10 (location, New Mexico). I'm still in the learning stages of lightcurve work so this graph may be off just a bit. Hopefully it is still fairly accurate.
According to the results I obtained using MPO Canopus, 2006 WO127 has an rotational period of 7.554 hours +/- 0.002 hours.
Observations of 2006 WO127 were also submitted to the Minor Planet Center. They are found below listed as L8863. Each of these observations were composed from stacking 10 to 15 images, and these observations are very accurate. Publications of these observations can be found below.
Final Results - 2006 WO127 has a H value of 16.1 placing it in the range of 2km - 4km. With a rotational period of 7.554 hours, it is likely that this object is that of a monolithic composition, but too, it is possible that this object could be that of a Rubble Pile Asteroid (RPA).
